Wonder belongs to nobody. She serves no King, no Emperor, no military — she decides for herself where she goes and which causes she takes up, and most of Monulu knows her only by reputation, since she travels in human form more often than not.
Her closest companion is Xena, a purple dragon of the Vaelthyr — an ancient lineage believed extinct, which draws its power from lightning instead of flame. Wonder found her egg in a cave, guarded by nothing and attacked by corrupted creatures for reasons no one has explained. She raised what hatched a month later, and the two have been inseparable since.
Their first great test came when an undead army appeared in Monulu and an expedition sent to investigate found itself losing badly. Wonder and Xena arrived without warning — a tornado tore across the battlefield, purple lightning split the sky, and the undead were gone before anyone saw where the attack had come from. Whoever commands the undead remains unknown, and Wonder cannot leave a mystery like that alone.
Between adventures she returns to Elyndra, an abandoned sacred land she discovered and now protects rather than rules — proof that the same curiosity that makes her reckless has, more than once, made her someone worth waking up to.
